Fiverr competitor analysis: how to read a search page

Before you write a gig title or set a price, look at the page buyers see for that keyword. Everything you need to judge the competition is already on it. You just have to read the right fields.

What to read under each gig

fieldwhat it tells you
Rating and review countHow much trust a competitor has. A high rating with few reviews is a newer seller than the same rating with hundreds.
Starting priceThe cheapest package, which is what the search page advertises even if most buyers pick a bigger one.
Seller levelNew, Level 1, Level 2 or Top Rated. A page full of Top Rated sellers is a different fight from a page of new ones.
Pro badgeA vetted badge that some buyers filter for. It is a separate signal from the level.
AdsPaid placements, marked as such. Read them, but do not count them as organic competition.

Read the page as a whole

Individual gigs matter less than the shape of the page. Four numbers summarise it:

Turn it into a decision

The numbers suggest where a gig can win. A keyword with a low median price, low average reviews and few Top Rated sellers is one where a well-worded gig and a competitive package can show up. A keyword where every result is Top Rated with hundreds of reviews is one to enter slowly, or with a narrower promise than the page already covers.

Then check where you actually land for the keyword, because a market's shape does not tell you your position in it. That is what the gig rank checker is for.

How GigScope shows it

The overlay puts rating, reviews, starting price, level and Pro badge under every gig on the search page, on top of the page you already have open. It marks the ads, adds the summary bar, and highlights your own gig with its position when it appears on the page. No spreadsheet, no opening each gig in a new tab.

GigScope is free on the Chrome Web Store: the full search overlay, the gig page panel, and 3 rank checks a day.
